Our Cornish "Adventure" Gigs are delivered "ready to row" at the start of your chosen event with the required equipment and safety gear. All you have to do is bring your personal gear and food then step in the Gig and start rowing. Need to know how to train - where to train - want other help or advice? The site is a personal one that is maintained by Michael & Angela Oram. We have both been intensively involved in the administration, organizing, assisting and piloting/escorting of English Channel swims, and other types of Channel crossings, since 1980. I have personally piloted around 600 Channel crossings in that time, our son, Lance, has piloted over 400 Channel crossings. My crossings records show about a 75% success rate. --Lances crossings records show about a 77% success rate.
